Point Christian Academy’s Classical Art program is designed to present the beauty of God’s creation as God is the Ultimate Artist! The students study the basic elements and principles of art as a foundation to creating their own artwork, practice the exercises of the “Basic Elements of Drawing”, and explore different mediums and art processes. In grades K-2 various artists and their techniques are used to explore and identify these basic elements and principles. Beginning in the 3rd grade the curriculum introduces art history with a review of the previously studied foundational elements of art. Again classical art emphasizes how God’s amazing creation provides all things beautiful for inspiration and materials for all generations of artists.

Academy students at PCA receive musical instruction that is both biblically rich and pedagogically sound. We carefully adjust the instruction to fit age-appropriate learning and cover a variety of subject areas. Some of these include singing technique, harmony, rhythm, music theory, instrumentation, Orff instrumental method, stories from music history (especially as they connect to church history), and movement. Every lesson includes biblical content and prayer times, and we believe it is a joy to pursue musical excellence together in a loving, growing, and Christ-like community.

At Point Christian Academy, Physical Education is designed to inspire a love for active play while nurturing Christlike character and teamwork. Students learn to work together, pursue success with humility, and compete with respect. We emphasize the importance of caring for and appreciating the amazing bodies God has given us. Through engaging physical activities, students develop new motor skills, practice healthy boundaries, and grow in their ability to listen, follow directions, and play with purpose. In all of this, students are reminded that their strength, discipline, and joy in movement are gifts from God, meant to be used for His glory.

At Point Christian Academy, our Technology courses equip students with essential digital skills while grounding them in a biblical worldview. From foundational computer literacy to coding, digital creativity, and responsible online citizenship, our classes help students navigate and use technology as a tool for learning, problem-solving, and service. Aligned with our Classical Christian education, we emphasize discernment, integrity, and wise stewardship of technology, preparing students to engage confidently and faithfully in an increasingly digital world.

The Library at Point Christian Academy is a welcoming space where students discover the joy of reading and the richness of learning. Our carefully curated collection supports our Classical Christian curriculum, offering literature, reference materials, and resources that nurture both academic growth and spiritual development. Here, students are encouraged to explore, think deeply, and delight in the world of books, all to the glory of God.

At Point Christian Academy, we believe that athletics offer valuable opportunities for character development, teamwork, and physical growth within a Christ-centered environment. We are excited to announce the launch of our first cross country team in the fall of 2025, marking the beginning of our growing athletics program. This new initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing the whole student, mind, body, and spirit. Additional sports opportunities are on the horizon as we continue to build a well-rounded program that supports excellence and honors God through every competition.
